In addition to my work as an actor, I have fully developed my skills as a writer, having written a few feature films, many short films, and several one-act plays. I have found that by immersing myself in studying screenwriting, I have enhanced my acting by having a greater understanding of script analysis, and effectively communicating the intent of the writer. A side benefit from also being a Producer and Director is that I have significantly increased my understanding of the full lifecycle of a project which I feel makes me more valuable as an actor by knowing what every person on set needs and expects from me. I’ve trained ferociously as an actor, but my additional focus on writing, producing, and directing, combined with my vast life experience, have all made me the actor I am today.
